Parsippany Library is happy to announce the second annual Brandon’s Heart & Sole Sock Drive!
Socks are the least donated items to homeless shelters and yet, provide so many benefits to those who need them. Besides offering comfort and warmth, socks safeguard foot hygiene, prevent blisters and sores, and protect against foot infections.

Brandon’s Heart & Sole, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, helps by bringing new socks to shelters and organizations helping those in need. Their mission is to take socks off of the most wanted list at homeless shelters and for people in need. Brandon Lastfogel’s loving, caring, and compassionate heart lives on through the work of Brandon’s Heart & Sole, by collecting the one gift that Brandon asked for every Christmas – the gift of socks. Brandon’s Heart and Sole hopes to warm the hearts and soles of those less fortunate in the New Jersey Area. To date, 50,000 pairs of socks have been distributed, 1,200 pairs of socks have been sent overseas to the Ukraine, over thirty shelters and organizations have been served, and they are the proud recipients of the Starbucks Neighborhood Grant. The Main Library has placed a collection bin at the front entrance for new sock donations to benefit those in need. Parsippany Library is located at 449 Halsey Rd, Parsippany, NJ 07054.
