Spotlight on Photographer for MCHC Re-Grant Award

In May 2022, the Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library system launched a partnership with coLAB Arts to produce oral histories and photo essays documenting the local and immigrant experiences of our Asian community. With the support of a Morris County Heritage Commission re-grant award, oral histories and photos will be

PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive

Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library System is among over 160 public libraries nationwide awarded funding by the Public Library Association (PLA) to conduct digital literacy
workshops using Digitallearn.org resources. The PLA Digital Literacy Workshop Incentive, supported by AT&T, provides support to libraries of all sizes to conduct digital literacy training in their communities and help close the digital divide. Click here to read more.

The ongoing pandemic has put a spotlight on inequities in the healthcare system, especially among the most marginalized members of the community. Those who suffer most are new immigrants, the elderly, and people from lower incomes who lack access to medical care, technology, and health information that is necessary to make informed choices about their health. Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library System Goes Fine Free

The Parsippany-Troy Hills Public Library system joins over 500 public libraries nationwide in going fine-free. “We are the third library in Morris County to go fine free,” she added. Roxbury Public Library eliminated overdue fines earlier this year, and the Library of the Chathams eliminates fines starting May 1.  Click here to read more.
