Montclair Art Museum

The Montclair Art Museum features a permanent collection of more than 12,000 objects consisting of paintings, prints, original works on paper, photographs, and sculpture by American artists from the 18th century to the present—including one-time Montclair resident George Inness—as well as traditional and contemporary Native American art and artifacts. While space constraints prevent the display of every work at any given time, temporary exhibitions often draw from the collection, in addition to shows of contemporary art sourced from outside the museum.
