The collective daily borrow limit set by your library has been reached and will reset at midnight. Please browse and add titles to favorites so you can easily access them after midnight.

This means that Parsippany Library has reached its limit for the day.

Why does this happen?

Each time a library user checks out a title, the cost of that item is deducted from the library's daily budget amount. Parsippany Library pays monthly for hoopla and that monthly payment is divided up based on the number of days that month. When you and other library users check out a book, eBook, audiobooks, etc., each item costs something for the library.

Eventually, the daily limit is met and nothing else may be checked out that day. Fortunately, the daily limit resets at 12:01 am each night, so you can try again the next morning. We believe that once usage of hoopla becomes more steady, this problem will not regularly occur. We recommend checking hoopla and borrowing items early in the day. Or, making great use of your wishlist as a way to build your collection before you need your materials!
