Meeting Room Reservations at the Main Library
Room A has a capacity of up to 90 attendees and includes an extensive package of media services, including DVD, VHS, CD, Dolby sound system, large projection screen and a performance stage. The meeting room includes a piano which can be booked for recitals and special events. There is laptop capability for presentations. There is a kitchen area available.
Room B has a capacity of up to 60 attendees with direct access to kitchen area.
Rooms A & B can be combined for a capacity of up to 250.
Group Study Room:
Group Study Room 1 is a glass-enclosed room located on the first floor of the library. This room has a capacity of up to 12 attendees. You may reserve this room for any group use, including school projects, book clubs, service club meetings, etc. There is no fee for using this room provided the group is based in Parsippany or has non-profit status.
There are two tutorial rooms located on the lower level. These rooms are available for private tutoring for two individuals; they may also be used for private study. There is no fee for using these rooms.
The library is currently not taking any tutorial room reservations.
Computer Training Lab:
Enjoy the professional atmosphere of our computer training lab. With 12 computers networked to a main server, you may teach or attend a class. The lab may be reserved by any organization and there is no charge for local non profits. For profits may use the room for a $50 per hour fee.
Meeting Room Agreement at the Lake Hiawatha Branch
Your group may wish to make a special note of the following items:
1. Fees are due the first of the month. All fees are listed within the applications.
2. In addition to the reservation fees, each group must submit a separate refundable (provided the room is left in good order) $50 deposit in the form of a check.
3. Meeting room groups are asked to end their meetings by 9:00 p.m. on weeknights and by 4:45p.m. on weekends so the security guard can lock up the building.
