Help us create a flag that represents the Mount Tabor community!

Submit your original design for a chance to have your artwork displayed outside the Mount Tabor Branch Library.

ABOUT THE CONTEST

The Mount Tabor Branch Library is inviting community members to help design a new flag that reflects the identity, creativity, and spirit of the Mount Tabor community. The selected design will be displayed outside the library.

Designers 16* and up are welcome to participate.

DESIGN REQUIREMENTS

Submitted designs must:

  • Be sized for a 3 × 5 foot vertical flag
  • Include the full library name: Mount Tabor Branch Library
  • Reflect the Mount Tabor community
  • Be inclusive and easy to understand
  • Use a clean, organized layout

 

OPTIONAL: While the Parsippany Library brand colors do not need to be used exclusively, participants are encouraged to explore the range:

  • Yellow — #feec63

  • Green — #31b886

  • Coral — #ec6a5a

  • Bright Blue — #00aeef

  • Blue — #0089cf

  • Lavender — #8b88c2

  • Golden Yellow — #fabf0e

  • Forest Green — #53734e

  • Black — #000000

Original Artwork Requirement

Submissions must be original artwork created by the participant. Designs created using artificial intelligence (AI) image generators are not eligible for this contest.

LIBRARY LOGO REQUIREMENTS

Designs must include the official Mount Tabor Branch Library logo.

The logo must:

  • Appear within the bottom 25% of the design
  • Not be altered beyond changing the color to black or white for contrast

This contest is open to:

  • Mount Tabor residents†
  • Mount Tabor Community members
  • Mount Tabor artists of all experience levels

HOW THE WINNER WILL BE SELECTED

Submissions will be reviewed through a blind judging process. This means designs will be evaluated without identifying information so that selections are based only on creativity, clarity, and how well each design reflects the Mount Tabor community.

* Participants 16 & 17 years of age will need the permission of a parent or guardian if their design is chosen as the winner of the Mount Tabor Branch Library Community Design Contest.

† Employees of the Parsippany Library, members of the Library Board of Trustees, contest judges, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling) or members of the same household are not eligible.

‡ If you have physical artwork that you would like to submit, please bring it to the Mount Tabor Branch Library customer service.
