Sustained Investigation – Parsippany Hills High School

This exhibition showcases the culmination of a year-long artistic exploration by our AP Art and Design students. They are challenged to create a Sustained Investigation Portfolio, demonstrating their artistic growth and critical thinking by exploring a central idea or theme through a series of artworks and written reflections. Each student’s Sustained Investigation reflects their unique artistic voice and perspective on a self-selected theme, showcasing their ability to develop and explore a concept or inquiry through a cohesive body of work, using a diverse range of media and techniques. Students are encouraged to demonstrate an inquiry-based sustained investigation of materials, processes, and ideas through practice, experimentation, and revision. We invite you to explore their individual journeys and witness the depth of their artistic exploration through a sample of their work.
